Poster series and publication introduce important concepts and emerging issues relating to indigenous and local knowledge systems and their interactions with science and policy. Each poster presents a key concept or issue, and supplements it with case studies from around the world.
A contribution towards the IPBES regional assessment for Asia and the Pacific. Its aims are to facilitate access to indigenous and local knowledge relevant to the assessment theme, and to pilot the initial approaches and procedures for building indigenous knowledge to IPBES assessments.
